For those not comfortable doing traditional yoga on mats, the stretches and poses in this class are all done while sitting in a chair. Cost is $5. Please bring a water bottle.

Linda Tucker

Linda Tucker is the  Youth Director o at the First United Methodist Church of Skiatook. With over 8 years of experience working with youth, she has a passion for empowering students to realize and achieve their God-given gifts and abilities. Before coming to Skiatook, Linda was the Youth Director at Meadowcreek United Methodist Church and the First Methodist Church of Hico, Texas. She has also worked for the Boy Scouts of America and the American Red Cross. While at the American Red Cross, Linda worked in Disaster Services recruiting and training volunteers to respond in disasters.

Born in North Carolina and raised in Texas, Linda is happy to now be living in Oklahoma with her husband, Gary,  daughter Maddie, and their cat, Harley. When Linda is not busy with her responsibilities at the church, she and Gary enjoy taking road trips on their motorcycle. They have traveled to Yellowstone National Park, the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Sturgis, SD.

Linda has a degree in Sociology from Tarleton State University and is a graduate of the Youth Workers Academy sponsored by the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is currently attending Phillips Theological Seminary working towards an M.Div. as she continues to discern her call into full time ministry.
